National Incident Management System (NIMS)
ALL City of Cocoa Employees and all newly hired employees are required to take the required courses, based on the position held, within six (6) months of employment. Current employees, if they have not already done so, are required to take the training as instructed by the Department Director based on the guidelines provided within the NIMS training program.
It is important to remember that if you transfer to a different position within the City of Cocoa, please check with your supervisor to make sure you take any additional testing, if required.
